UGIRAN projects expected outcomes:
1) Establishing assembly line for ITMCO TRACTOR in Kampala the capital city of UGIRAN.
2) Employment opportunity creation for 2000 people in manufacturing sector and supporting service industries.
3) Development of the mechanization in Ugiran agriculture.
4) Assisting UGIRAN in setting up an assembly line, and a paint shop for tractor manufacturing as well as helping the country to gradually achieve local content in parts production whereby savings in foreign currency spending would be made.
5) Transfer of technology and its localization.
6) Invigorating the industries affiliated with tractor manufacturing.
7) Generating optimum profit margins for both shareholders.
8) Generating value-added output that would contribute to Ugiran's GNP.
9) Exporting tractors to neighboring countries and developing market share in the international arena.
