Iran Tractor Manufacturing
Company
The scheme for creation of ITMCO organized
in the second half of 1967 within the framework of technical and economic agreement
between
Iran
and
Romania
for manufacturing all kinds of universal tractors models.
In 1975 , the performance of the factory
which consisted of 6 projects : Foundry
, forging, Manufacturing of tractors , Manufacturing of engine , industrial services
and industrial machinery , a contract was signed with MF CO of England for manufacturing
agricultural tractors ( model MF 285 and MF 399) and "Perkins engine"
In 1987 , each of the above- mentioned projects
was transferred to separate the companies in order to make improvement to the infrastructure
and facilitate the processes to achieve as well as improve the quantitative targets
. The current productions of the company are:
Tractors ( ITM 285 , ITM 399 and
ITM 299 )
In 1996 ITMCO established Truck Manufacturing
company to produce single cabin trucks 3.5 and 5 tons , double cabin trucks by the
name of "Azarakhsh "
.

for internal and external of town services , competitive prices and the best after sales services are some advantages of Azarakhsh truck.
High quality and competitive price of products
has succeeded its domestic market and export to more than 32 countries. At present in view of amicable business relations between
Iran
and
Uganda
it has been agreed to establish a joint venture enterprise for exporting and assembling
tractors in
Uganda
.
The aim of ITMCO is to create agricultural revolution with high quality and best
prices of its products in
Iran
and all countries all over the world.
